Map made in black and colour inks on paper; folded into 8 parts, each larger than A3 (+20 cm at the bottom and +7 cm on the right). Usage list – 11 people (2018): Vladimir Puzanov 2 times, Vladimir Kusov in 2005, Elena Konovalova – scientific description in 2008, copying in 2011, Evgeny Rychalovsky – seen in 2017. Limits of cartographic image: from the Yurgamysh river and Abuga river near Tobol in the lower left corner to the middle course of the Irtysh and Orlovo Gorodische on Ishim river, Znamensky pogost and Omsk fortress on the Irtysh. Map content: rivers, lakes and swamps, cities, fortresses, outposts, slobodas, some villages, Old Ishim line – in red, blue – author’s route, resembling reconnaissance for the New Ishim line, roads – in yellow.
Other features. Longitude system from a line passing slightly west of Tsarev Kurgan, the entire map from -1°E to 10°E, and from 54°30’N to almost 57°N. Cartouche in the middle at the top, scale at the bottom, right, nearby is an ink signature “Copied at the Senate by geodesy lieutenant Wasily Somov on March 3, 1748.”
